Good questions
Which medications does Pinny work with?
Any weekly or daily pen. You choose your pen and dose steps during setup, and Pinny takes care of the rhythm, reminders and level estimate. Pinny never suggests a dose; that stays between you and your prescriber.
Is Pinny medical advice?
No. Pinny is a log. It records what you tell it and shows it back clearly. The medicine level is an estimate for your own understanding, and any decision about your treatment belongs to you and your prescriber.
Does it work outside the US?
Yes, that's the point. Kilograms, stones and pounds; pounds sterling, euros, rand, dollars and more. Pinny was built for people paying for their own treatment in the UK, Australia, South Africa and Europe as much as the US.
What's free and what's Plus?
Logging, reminders, the body map, the level meter, weight and widgets are free forever. Plus adds the cost tracker, the doctor's report, photos and measurements, side-effect patterns, the weekly recap and travel mode. There's a 7-day free trial.
Where is my data?
On your phone, in the app's own storage, included in your normal iPhone backup. There's no Pinny account and no server holding your log. You can export it or erase it at any time from Your data in the More tab.
How do I get help?
Email support@getpinny.com. A real person reads it, usually the person who built the app.
